The Xiaomi 13 Pro has been launched globally, along with the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Lite. The 13 Pro is a glass smartphone with a signature camera housing and has the same 6.73-inch LTPO QHD OLED panel as seen on the Xiaomi 12 Pro and 12S Ultra. The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset brings improved performance, coupled with faster RAM and storage chips.

The camera department builds on the 12S Ultra with a 50MP main camera, a new 50MP sensor for the ultrawide camera, and another 50MP sensor for the telephoto camera, sitting behind a 75mm lens. The battery capacity is 4,820mAh, with 120W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging support. The full specs sheet is provided, and the phone also has IP68 ingress protection. However, the selfie camera is dated at 32MP and does not offer 4K video capturing.

Xiaomi has launched a new addition to its flagship series with the Xiaomi 13 Lite. While past “Lite” models may have been associated with subpar hardware, this year’s release promises to be a real deal upgrade with notable improvements. The display remains 6.55″ in size but now features a curved design, making it a compact mid-range option. The most significant upgrade comes in the form of the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC chipset, which offers better efficiency and performance compared to previous Snapdragon 700 series chips.

Additionally, the camera setup features a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a new front-facing 32MP ultrawide angle camera with an 8MP depth sensor for better portraits. The battery has also been improved to 4,500mAh and supports Xiaomi’s 67W fast charging. The phone’s body is now entirely built from glass and metal, improving build quality while retaining a lightweight design. The Xiaomi 13 Lite ships with a user manual, 67W charger, USB-A to USB-C cable, and an extra transparent silicone case.
